TF UNIVERSE CLASSICS 2.0 GALVATRON
Transformers More Than Meets the eye |
 |
| |
Box Description: Arrogant, powerful and ruthless, GALVATRON has emerged to seize control of the scattered Decepticon Forces. He has formed what was once a loose confederation of assassins and warlords and turned it into an army capable of threatening the entire universe. Rumors around, but no one knows where he came from; they know only that he arrived, and swiftly crushed all opposition to his rule. Some Decepticons hope another leader powerful enough to challenge him will emerge, but most are too afraid of him to even hope for someone better.
For the Review
Galvatron is really a ruthless leader that every Decepticons fear his rule. Now he has risen once again in a TF Universe Classics 2.0 form. Galvatrons face and color was retained from the classic G1 form. While his body has a different mould and transformation as a tank. His alternate mode was of a Tank type rather than a Futuristic Laser-Cannon from G1. I think that his Tank body was originated from a Generation 2 type series according to Wiki.

His Tank mode is really a cool one where you can look at it as a futuristic tank. You can move the turret 360 degrees and can fire a small projectile missile where you can push it at the end of the cannon like on the color orange below. The details is really good the whole color of the body was a light gray while the cannon was color orange. You can see a GALV-25 markings in both side of its turret. At the other side of the turret was its missile launchers.

On its transformation I can really say that his transformation is somewhat not really that complicated. The only part that I have difficulty in understanding on how to transform it was his turret. At first the instruction sometimes isn't clear in some parts. I resulted in watching a video in Youtube on how to transform Galvatron 2.0 Classics to tank mode.
Now on robot mode the details is really good apart from awesome. The color of purple shows up in his robot mode. His articulation is somewhat good he just passed his kick test also. The only dissappointing was his legs part and arms because that you can raise Galvatrons left hand sideways because the turret was blocking its way. On his legs part he can't even seem to do a straight front kick cause his armor skirt infront was blocking it. The only good thing on his legs was he can do a split kick in mid air like ala Van Damn style.
You can rotate his head and also you can also rotate his body and that's what I like in most action figure. Now on the bad part sadly Galvatron has some issue of looseness what's up with the Quality Control in that. Some of the parts can fall off quickly when you fiddle with it. The parts that can be considered loose was its cannon in the turret easily falls off. His right hand can fall off during transformation also his left leg has suffered the same injury.
As for the good side thou he is another one of the solid figure from the Universe Classic lines his looks is very intimidating. While on the bad side is that he is small I say really small for a ruthless leader of the Decepticons. I say that he should be put in a Voyager Class or a Supreme Class where he can tower and destroy his enemies.
Now for the closing coments on TF Universe Classics 2.0 Galvatron all I can say is that he is a very good (no not his entirely good he is a bad bot) figure. The downside was his quality control issue on some parts like looselessness when you transform or fiddle with him during play. Well the score that I can give was just 7/10.
